A converged tier-1 broadening of one channel over a whole grid.

Fields

values: Vec<f64>

Broadened cross-section at each target energy (barn).

derivatives: Vec<f64>

Temperature derivative at each target (barn/K). All zero when the caller did not ask for one, because an unrequested derivative was never converged to its own tolerance.

negative_values: usize

Targets whose reported value is negative: SAMMY’s rule KEPT them when broadening ran, and on the unbroadened path they are simply the negative values of the resonance equation.

roundoff_limited: usize

Targets whose refinement stopped because it had stopped helping, rather than because the requested tolerance was met.

The value at such a target is stationary — six consecutive bisections moved it by less than 1e-5 relative — but its error certificate was never satisfied, and a caller that needs one must not assume it. This is QUADPACK qagse’s ier = 2 reported rather than swallowed: the alternative is refining until a budget stops it and failing on a value that was already correct.
