One region’s fitted quantities and counts.

Fields§

§densities: Vec<f64>

Areal density of each isotope of the region’s material in atoms/barn, in the order given: the known one, or the fitted one; empty without a material.

§temperature_k: Option<f64>

The material’s temperature in K: the known one, or the fitted one; None without a material.

§thickness_variance: Option<f64>

The material’s thickness variance v: the known one, or the fitted one; None without a material.

§background: [f64; 5]

[b0, b1, b2, d, f] of Region::background, each the known or the fitted one.

§gamma_transmission: f64

The gamma transmission: the known one, or the fitted one.

§capture_gammas: f64

The capture gammas’ ε: the known one, or the fitted one.

§in_scatter: f64

The in-scatter’s Ω: the known one, or the fitted one.

§timing_offset_us: f64

The timing offset δt in µs: the known one, or the fitted one.

§beam: BeamSpline

The region’s beam per µs, as a function of the arrival time its pixels record less the starting t0, fitted to both runs, with the intervals the region’s open-beam fit chose.

§beam_at_limit: bool

Whether the region’s open-beam fit chose its richest beam; see OpenBeamFit::at_limit.

§predicted: [Vec<f64>; 2]

The open-beam and sample counts the fit predicts in each bin at its answer, live fractions included, on the grid it accepted: the counts CountsFit::deviance compares with the measured ones.

§overdispersion: [Option<f64>; 2]

Variance of the counts of the open-beam run, then of the sample run, over their Poisson variance: the value each run’s counts are divided by in the returned fit. The open-beam run’s is the region’s open-beam fit’s OpenBeamFit::overdispersion; the sample run’s is measured the same way, on the bins outside excluded_bins the first fit predicts at least one count, by the previous fit, and within 1% by the returned one when the fit converged. None when the run’s counts have not measured it; the open-beam run is then weighted with 1, and the sample run as the open-beam run.

§excluded_bins: Vec<usize>

Indices, ascending, of the sample run’s bins its material’s Material::library leaves out, and, under a spread whose share is not known 0, those of every region that spreads counts into it: they add nothing to the deviance, the information or the sample run’s overdispersion.
